GAIAOSE S.A. invites all professional and amateur photographers as well as the employees of the Greek railway companies (OSE, TRAINOSE, ERGOSE, EESTY, GAIAOSE) to participate in the PANHELLENIC DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST GAIAOSE 2019, under the auspices of the Hellenic Photographic Society. The thematic sections are:
- Railway buildings and the environment
- Train and movement.

Participation terms
- Every resident of Greece as well as employees of the Greek railway companies (OSE, TRAINOSE, ERGOSE, EESTY, GAIAOSE) can participate in the contest.
- Photographers are required to record the themes with any photographic method (digital camera DSLR, mirrorless, compact or with tablet or mobile phone) uniquely and creatively in black and white or color digital photos, to be judged by a 3-member committee with qualitative and artistic criteria.
- Competitors must submit their project exclusively in digital format, as well as the Entry Form.
- Each contestant may submit up to two (2) projects per thematic section, accompanied by a participation certificate, which can be downloaded from the website of HPS and GAIAOSE S.A.
- Project dimensions: the large side at 2500 pixels, at 300 ppi in jpg format (medium quality setting # 8). Do not exceed 2 MB file size, without watermark or photographer’s name.

(surname) _01 (serial number) (project title)
e.g.: Papadopoulos_01_train and movement
- Caution: There must be a specific title in each photo. A title on an “untitled” photo is not acceptable.
- Awards will be given at a special public ceremony and the winning photos will be exhibited in a space that will be announced by GAIAOSE SA..
- Participation in the contest automatically implies the unconditional acceptance by participants of all the terms of this notice. Any mis compliance with the terms of the contest (dimensions of works, data entry, submission, etc.) can lead to disqualification.
- GAIAOSE S.A. reserves the right to use the photographic material to promote the Company and promote its purposes at any time and in any way it deems fit in the future (such as, but not limited to, exhibitions, views, commemorative albums, calendars, CD-DVD creation, etc) in hard copy or on the Internet. The participants explicitly accept this condition and grant the relevant right to GAIAOSE S.A. to use their distinguished works, by signing in the Registration Form. It should be noted that GAIAOSE S.A. is always required to indicate the photogapher’s name when and if the photos will be used.
- The results of the competition will be announced on 15 July 2019 and the prizes will be awarded and the exhibition will be held in September 2019. The participants can follow the announcements at GAIAOSE S.A. website: www.gaiaose.com and HPS: www.efe.com.gr
